The Nutcracker marches in holiday cheer for the whole family
The Christmas tree is up, the stockings are hanging over the fireplace, the lights are strung on the house, and now it’s time to enjoy some of the holiday season with the National Tour of the Nutcracker.
The story revolves around a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a seven-headed Mouse King. The original book was “The Nutcracker and the King of Mice” by E.T.A. Hoffman, which has been adapted by Alexander Dumas. The music comes from popular Russian composer Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
